Job Summary
Guide patients through therapist-prescribed exercise programs and assist with therapeutic modalities and treatment setup. Provide encouragement and education to help patients achieve their goals while building positive, professional relationships. Prepare, maintain, and clean a safe clinical environment, including custodial duties such as disinfecting equipment and cleaning bathrooms. Utilize electronic medical records and other clinic systems to document care. Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and lifting up to 35 lbs throughout the workday.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge and ability to demonstrate body mechanics, functional movement, and exercises
- Knowledge and adherence to HIPAA laws and compliance regulations
- Ability to properly transfer patients with use of good body mechanics while maintaining patient safety
- Required to work at an IRG facility and be responsible for your own transportation to and from work site
- Potential exposure to virus, disease, and infections from patients in the working environment
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Health Sciences, or other related field preferred
- Customer service or patient-facing experience preferred
