Job Summary
Part-time Industrial Sports Medicine Professional providing on-site care at a single client site in Fairbanks, AK. Responsibilities include injury prevention and Early Discomfort Management (EDM) programs, ergonomic solutions, and OSHA First Aid compliance. Deliver education and training to individuals and groups, perform on-site care and management of work-related and non-work-related discomforts, and produce detailed reports using Briotix Health’s system. Maintain knowledge of OSHA standards, follow client requirements for services such as functional employment testing, return-to-work/stay-at-work, and ergonomic assessments (on-site, virtual, office, and vehicle). Require certifications/licenses in applicable states, CPR/BLS, musculoskeletal injury care knowledge, and 1+ year of customer service experience. Physical ability to meet on-site demands (lift up to 50 pounds). Shifts average 7 hours per week across 2-3 days, with 6:00am–6:00pm flexible hours Monday–Friday; hourly rate $40-$50, with compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Education in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or related field.
- Appropriate certifications and/or state license in good standing in each state where team member provides service.
- Current CPR Certification CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, BLS Healthcare Provider, or equivalent certification.
- Demonstrated knowledge of musculoskeletal injury care.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service.
