Job Summary
Portray assigned characters during military training exercises, including opposition forces, high-value individuals, and local nationals, while maintaining full immersion in scenario-specific instructions. Safely operate assigned small arms training weapons and simulators across rural, urban, and maritime environments under varying weather conditions. Adhere to all safety protocols and OPNAVINST 6110.1J Physical Readiness Program standards while wearing designated attire appropriate to the assigned role and region. This 1099 independent contractor position requires U.S. citizenship and prior military or law enforcement experience, with a fixed schedule of 10-hour shifts from September 17–23, 2026. Candidates must possess current knowledge of small arms systems and reliable transportation to the exercise location.
Required Qualifications
- Prior military, law enforcement, or comparable experience
- U.S. Citizen
- Current or recent practical knowledge of small arms weapons systems
- Proficiency in the safe operation of weapons and/or weapons training simulators
- Ability to meet OPNAVINST 6110.1J Physical Readiness Program standards
- Ability to work in austere environments and varying weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to and from the exercise location
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crawl, and move across uneven terrain
- Ability to lift and carry training equipment as required
- Ability to work outdoors in hot, humid, rural, urban, and maritime environments for extended periods
- Conversational Spanish fluency
