Job Summary
Portray assigned characters during military training exercises, including opposition forces, high-value individuals, and local nationals, while maintaining immersion and adhering to all safety protocols. Safely operate assigned small arms training weapons and simulators across rural, urban, and maritime environments under varying weather conditions. Wear designated attire appropriate to the assigned role and region. This 1099 independent contractor role requires U.S. citizenship and prior military or law enforcement experience, with shifts scheduled for September 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Prior military, law enforcement, or comparable experience
- U.S. Citizen
- Current or recent practical knowledge of small arms weapons systems
- Proficiency in the safe operation of weapons and/or weapons training simulators
- Ability to meet OPNAVINST 6110.1J Physical Readiness Program standards
- Ability to work in austere environments and varying weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to and from the exercise location
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crawl, and move across uneven terrain
- Ability to lift and carry training equipment as required
- Ability to work outdoors in hot, humid, rural, urban, and maritime environments for extended periods
- Conversational Spanish fluency
