Job Summary
Prescribe exercise therapy and provide education to patients within the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation program using therapeutic self, technology, and healthcare team resources. Serve as a unit resource person by applying professional expertise to clinical and technical aspects of exercise physiology. Complete a Basic Arrhythmia course within six months of hire and maintain BLS certification. Hold a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science with ACSM, EP-C, CEP, or AACVPR/CCRP certification, or a Master's degree with demonstrated clinical knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of Bachelor Exercise Science Degree program WITH National Certification from ACSM, EP-C or CEP, or AACVPR, CCRP (within 6 months of hire date)
- Graduate of Exercise Physiology Master Degree Program
- demonstrated knowledge of clinical and technical aspects of exercise physiology and training
- successful completion of a Basic Arrhythmia course within six (6) months of hire
- basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications
- BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
