Exercise Physiologist Part Time

Job Summary
Develop and implement exercise prescriptions for all phases of cardiac rehabilitation, including phases I through III. Supervise cardiovascular stress tests and provide care management for Phase II patients using Enhanced External Counterpulsation, Holter, and event monitor placements. Create educational materials and deliver instruction to cardio/pulmonary patients and other referred individuals. Plan and participate in special patient events, research endeavors, and departmental improvement initiatives. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or Physiology, plus two years of relevant experience and current BLS certification. Part-time, 20-hour day shift position at Corewell Health Trenton Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology or related field
- Current BLS Certification
- 2 years of relevant experience
- successful completion of a 600-hour clinical internship in the cardiac rehab setting
