Job Summary
Develop exercise prescriptions and risk factor modification plans by incorporating comorbidities and musculoskeletal disorders per established program standards. Review and develop individual treatment plans, creating exercise and strength training programs alongside patient education and behavioral health support. Demonstrate proper instruction and technique for appropriate exercises to ensure patient safety, while immediately reporting significant clinical changes to the healthcare team and assisting with emergency care.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
- Certified Exercise Physiologist from American College of Sports Medicine - Certified Exercise Physiologist (ACSM CEP) for Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab
- Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional from the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation - Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (AACVPR CCRP) for Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab
