Exercise Physiologist Casual

Develop and implement exercise prescriptions and sessions for all phases of cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation. Supervise cardiovascular stress tests to obtain reliable data while providing care management for Phase II patients. Create educational materials and deliver instruction to cardio/pulmonary patients and other referred individuals. Plan and participate in special patient events, research endeavors, professional conferences, and specialized programmatic service lines. Provide Enhanced External Counterpulsation (EECP) and holter/event monitor placement services. Requires a Bachelor's degree in exercise science or related field, Master's degree preferred, and ECG interpretation experience. Current BLS Certification is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support is preferred. ACSM or AACVPR certification within one year of employment is required. Part-time, day shift role at Royal Oak Hospital with 0.03 scheduled weekly hours.
