Job Summary
Lead the wealth planning engagement process for senior executives, serving as the primary point of contact from discovery through strategy development. Develop holistic financial strategies tailored to unique circumstances, incorporating company-specific compensation, equity, deferred compensation, and benefit programs. Partner closely with specialists across investment management, credit, banking, and trust and estate planning to deliver comprehensive solutions. Educate executives on complex financial concepts through personalized consultations while maintaining regulatory, risk, and compliance standards. Stay current on tax, trust, estate, and executive compensation regulations to assess their impact on planning strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to gain client's respect and trust by listening to the client's goals and then building an effective and creative strategy for achieving those goals
- Advanced understanding of a wide range of subject matters including income taxation, stock options, insurance, investments and cash flow modeling, business entities, and business transitions
- Advanced understanding of the transfer tax system and core tax savings strategies such as irrevocable trusts, SIDGTs, and GST trusts
- Advanced understanding of charitable and non-charitable split interest trusts (CRTs, CLTS, GRATs, QPRTs)
- Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Various Wealth Strategy stochastic models and planning software such as WealthMaster
- Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of planning-related work experience desired
- JD, CPA, or CFP desired
- LLM, MST, MBA (or in progress) a plus
