Job Summary
Executive Vice President of Operations responsible for leading construction operations, project management, supply chain, logistics, and quality control. Collaborates with the CEO and senior leaders to develop and execute strategic plans, implement operational strategies, and drive continuous improvement and competitive advantage. Oversees resource allocation (personnel, equipment, materials, subcontractors), manages risk with safety/compliance protocols, and builds a high-performing operations team through guidance, coaching, and mentorship. Requires a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and at least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in construction operations or related roles. Emphasizes strategic planning, operational excellence, budgeting, vendor/subcontractor management, and data-driven decision making to achieve efficiency, profitability, and high-quality project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, business administration, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in construction operations, project management, or related roles
- Deep industry knowledge and expertise in construction processes, methods, and technologies, with a strong understanding of project lifecycle management, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire trust, build consensus, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders
- Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and strategic thinking, with the ability to analyze complex issues, make data-driven decisions, and drive results in a dynamic and competitive market environment
