Job Summary
Executive Vice President sought to lead the execution of Ayres’ three-year strategic plan, with accountability for external growth, client relationships, and market expansion. The role sits on a four-person executive team and requires balancing strategic vision with operational discipline, aligning internal teams and external partners, and driving growth through partnerships and potential acquisitions. The successful candidate will connect strategy to delivery, foster a high-performance culture, and enable sustainable growth across geographies. Travel is required to support strategic objectives. This in-person leadership position is based at one of Ayres’ offices in Eau Claire, WI; Fort Collins, CO; Green Bay, WI; Madison, WI; St. Paul, MN; or Tampa, FL.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree that has equipped you to think critically and creatively
- Experience in the engineering, geospatial, planning, or related technical services market
- A minimum of 15 years of industry experience showing results in growth and operational performance
- Demonstrated success leading a company, division, or business unit with accountability for both growth and operational performance
- Proven ability to drive market expansion and revenue growth while maintaining strong operational discipline
- Building alignment across teams and functions to successfully execute company-wide initiatives
- Developing and maintaining strategic external partnerships
- Active leadership in professional or business organizations
- Willingness to travel as needed to support strategic growth objectives and organizational needs
- Ability to build trust at all levels, form strong, authentic relationships and lead with a collaborative mindset
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
