Job Summary
Deliver exceptional guest experiences by managing a team of consultants, setting sales goals, and ensuring visual merchandising standards are met across departments. Review financial and team metrics to identify gaps, while creating schedules that align with guest traffic and business needs. Lead talent planning, recruitment, and onboarding, coaching team leaders to close skill gaps and maintain a culture of accountability and safety. Develop strategies leveraging competitor insights and vendor relationships to drive total store profitability and operational efficiency. Regularly assume store-level leadership duties, including responding to emergencies and ensuring compliance with all safety and security protocols.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year degree or equivalent experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong business acumen
- Comfortable dealing with and managing team through ambiguity
- Comfortable managing conflict, leading and holding others accountable
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
- Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, financial and quantitative analysis
- Ability to interpret instructions, reports and information
- Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds without additional assistance from others
- Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc.
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Climb up and down ladders as needed
- Variable work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) and reliable and prompt attendance necessary
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary)
- Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
