Job Summary
Executive Sous Chef based onsite at Riverstone Living – Bishops Avenue in London, leading a culinary team to deliver exceptional dining for residents and clients in a luxury care setting. Responsibilities include leading, mentoring, and developing staff; recruiting and training; managing stock, ordering, and cost control to ensure financial performance; maintaining clear communication with management and clients; ensuring compliance with food safety, COSHH, health & safety, environmental, and legal regulations; championing a resident-first culture and maintaining high service standards in line with brand expectations. Role operates 20 hours per week (2 days out of 7) from 10:00am to 8:00pm, with bonus eligibility based on performance.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or above
- Catering experience with strong chef skills
- Leadership skills and team management
- Food safety compliance knowledge (COSHH, health & safety)
- Operational cost control and stock management
- Strong customer service ethos and resident-focused service
