Job Summary
Conduct extensive research to map the talent landscape in robotics, AI, automotive, software, and hardware industries. Collaborate with the Executive Recruiting team and hiring partners to define search criteria and build top-of-funnel strategies for niche leadership roles. Craft bespoke outreach campaigns to engage passive executive candidates, moving beyond standard InMails to connect with top-tier talent. Perform initial high-level screens to assess qualifications, leadership capability, cultural fit, and genuine interest in the Zoox mission. Build and maintain a network of potential future leaders, keeping warm relationships with top talent for future opportunities as we scale.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of total sourcing experience
- at least 1 year of experience focused on executive search (Director+)
- Demonstrated expertise in proactive candidate sourcing
- developing and maintaining complex talent maps and pipelines
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to quickly understand a broad range of domains (Autonomy, Hardware, Software, G&A, Operations)
- articulate how a leader fits into the broader business strategy
Desired Qualifications
- Interest in the autonomous and electric vehicle industry
- Expertise in leveraging ATS (we use Lever) to build metrics, sourcing strategies, and talent pipelines
