Job Summary
Implement the company's SHE policy, emergency action plans, and work permit systems while monitoring firefighting equipment and hazardous material storage. Conduct monthly safety visits to external warehouses, investigate accidents and near misses, and analyze statistics to recommend risk reduction strategies. Ensure compliance with GMP, Food Safety policies, and the Factories Act, 1948 by overseeing security operations, enforcing hygiene practices, and managing corrective actions from audits. Prepare MIS data, budgets, and actionable reports for management, coordinate with government agencies, and lead training sessions for all plant personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Possesses a recognized degree in any branch of Engineering or Technology
- Practical Experience of working in any factory in a supervisory capacity for a period of not less than 2 years
- Possesses a recognized diploma in any branch of Engineering or Technology
- Recognized degree in Physic or Chemistry
- Practical experience of working in any factories in a supervisory capacity for a period of not less than 3 years
- Business communication in English and Kannada is must
- Minimum 3 plus years' experience in the field of SHE
- Strong working knowledge related to SHE
- Very good in technical skills and analytical mindset
- Good in project management
- Good communicator / negotiator
- Team Lead & Good people management skills
- Descent work knowledge of MS office, especially MS-Excel, MS Project management
