Job Summary
Lead a brand-new preschool as Executive School Director in Hingham, MA, overseeing enrollment growth, building a high-performing team, and establishing a positive, compliant learning environment. Responsibilities include recruiting, training, coaching staff; managing daily operations, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation; executing enrollment and seasonal plans; maintaining strong family partnerships and community engagement; and upholding the school’s mission, standards, and regulatory compliance while driving financial performance and growth. Competitive base pay ($70,000-$88,000 annually) with a quarterly, performance-based bonus and comprehensive benefits. Requires experience in licensed childcare with leadership experience, and the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years in licensed childcare with at least one year as a Director or supervising a childcare program with a track record of team management, operational oversight, and community engagement (Required)
- Experience with startup of childcare center (preferred)
- Strong leadership, financial, organizational, and communication skills; proficiency with relevant software, including Microsoft Office
