Job Summary
Executive Sales Consultant drives broker relationships and hits annual sales targets through advanced broker growth initiatives and new group submissions. Responsibilities include re-engaging inactive brokers, delivering product and technology training, managing a robust sales pipeline via outbound and follow-up calls, developing complex sales strategies, and providing ongoing status reports to monitor activity, follow-ups, and closings. The role requires collaboration with leadership, development of strategic agency training plans, participation in industry events, and strong skills in relationship-building, consultative selling, and presentation. Proficiency with SalesForce and deep knowledge of healthcare market dynamics, carrier partners, and underwriting nuances are needed, along with the ability to mentor peers and lead cross-functional initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Active life/health insurance license in Tennessee
- Minimum four (4) years of health care/medical sales experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred AND minimum four years of experience in business-to-business or business-to-consumer (as applicable to role)
- Willingness to travel 15-35%
- Must reside in the state of Tennessee
