Job Summary
Monitor and analyze security systems to ensure the safety of global C-Suite executives during travel, identifying threats via OSINT and social media. Develop risk assessments for cities and events while conducting real-time incident assessments and coordinating responses with stakeholders. Document all incidents thoroughly and support the execution of security protocols to maintain a safe environment. Assist in developing security reports and intelligence products that inform decision-making processes. This role operates on a 4x12 night shift schedule (7:00 pm–7:00 am) covering 24/7/365 coverage. Candidates must have 0-2 years of experience in security operations or protective intelligence. Control Risks offers a base salary of $70,000–$78,000 and supports hybrid working arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in a GSOC, Security Operations, or similar role working in the technology sector
- Working knowledge of security systems, incident response protocols, and emergency management
- Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations and make sound decisions under stress
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly
- Strong analytical skills with the capacity to assess complex situations and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in using security technology and software applications related to monitoring and reporting
- Capability to work flexible hours, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be able to work 4 days on of 12 hour shifts, followed by 4 days off
- Must be available for night shifts 7:00 pm-7:00 am
