Job Summary
Full-time, non-tenure-track Executive Professor of Business at Capital University. Teach undergraduate accounting and MBA courses, with MBA offerings in an evening, hybrid format. Ability to teach across multiple business disciplines including Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, Business Policy and Strategy, Business Operations, and Professional Development. Nine-month position teaching 32 credits per academic year at undergraduate and graduate levels; summer teaching opportunities may be available. Requires PhD, DBA, or relevant graduate degree (e.g., MBA, MAcc, JD). Demonstrated teaching effectiveness and experience teaching in face-to-face, hybrid, and online environments. Broad subject-matter expertise in business and a project-based learning approach, plus a professional network for live-client projects, guest speakers, and student professional development. Required Qualifications
- PhD, DBA, or relevant graduate degree (e.g. MBA, MAcc, JD)
- Previous university or professional teaching experience with evidence of teaching effectiveness
- Experience teaching in face-to-face, hybrid, and online environments is desired
- Wide breadth of subject matter expertise in business with demonstrated record of accomplishment
- Appreciation for a project-based learning approach
- Professional network for live-client projects, guest speakers, and student professional development
