Job Summary
Executive Producer leads the newsroom’s editorial vision across broadcast and digital platforms in a fast-paced environment. This hands-on newsroom leader oversees rundowns and scripts for daily newscasts, responds decisively to breaking news on digital and on air, researches, pitches, and develops enterprise stories across broadcast, digital, and social platforms, and manages, coaches, and motivates producers, reporters, and video journalists. Oversees the use of graphics resources to enhance presentation, writes compelling news stories in active voice, booths newscasts when needed, and communicates with news staff, promotions, and production/engineering. Requires three years producing experience, strong writing and visual-thinking ability, ability to coordinate several crews, and proficiency with Adobe Premiere.
