Job Summary
Executive Pastry Chef leads daily pastry operations, personally performing tasks to showcase baking and decorating talents while supervising the pastry team to produce quality and consistent pastries across areas. Focuses on guest and employee satisfaction within budget, maintains sanitation and food standards, identifies developmental needs and mentors staff, develops pastry concepts and menus, oversees purchasing, inventory, and equipment maintenance, and represents the property at media events and in community pastry classes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 6 years experience in culinary, beverage, or related professional area OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 4 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
