Job Summary
Lead clinical development strategy and execution for the non-I/O BCMA program, partnering with the Global Program Head to design optimal development approaches. Serve as the medical expert for external interactions with regulatory authorities, key opinion leaders, and patient advocacy groups while guiding internal cross-functional teams through IND, BLA/NDA submissions, and health authority responses. Drive consensus-building across multi-disciplinary teams to shorten development cycles and lead a group of MDs and clinical scientists in study start-up, execution, and data review.
Required Qualifications
- An advanced degree in medicine (MD or equivalent)
- 10% travel to relevant conferences/congresses
- Experience leading study start-up, directing and guiding study team execution, data cleaning, medical review, database locks, and handling health authority responses
Desired Qualifications
- Specialized fellowship training in Immunology or Rheumatology
- A minimum of 6-8 years of industry experience in related therapeutic area clinical development
- Demonstrated consistent track record in a range of leadership roles, including working with senior clinical development staff and establishing credibility with external collaborators such as opinion leaders and regulators
- Substantial experience in drug development, including experience with both IND and BLA/NDA submission
- A strong commitment to impacting patients through drug development and the ability to work well within a team setting
- People management experience
