Job Summary
Executive (Marketing) to support the Public Affairs team; coordinate with the General Editor of the Singapore Chronicles titles, oversee publication progress from conception to release, liaise with authors, copyeditors, and publishers, plan and execute marketing and promotional activities to achieve sales targets, develop content strategy for stakeholder engagement, manage social media content and engage with stakeholders, assist in reporting to stakeholders, produce IPS collaterals, uphold editorial governance to match the Institute’s brand voice, and assist in media relations for IPS events and briefings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mass Communication or Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum one year of experience in corporate communication, marketing, media, or public relations
- Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to produce clear, professional communications (emails, messages, and content)
- Motivated, resourceful and capable of working independently while managing tasks effectively
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence in engaging diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Familiarity with social media platforms, including content management, advertising, analytics, and audience engagement, with an editorial mindset
- Image and video editing skills for social media are advantageous
- Experience in journalism and editing with media organisations or public relations agencies will be an advantage
- A positive and cheerful personality will be considered an asset
