Job Summary
Lead a team of risk professionals to strengthen risk identification, management, and improvement across the Divisional Business Controls & Monitoring division. Drive divisional and line-of-business risk reviews, support audit and assurance activities, and lead programs aligned with Westpac's Risk and Compliance Framework. Partner with senior leaders to ensure risk practices are practical, consistent, and effective while coaching high-performing teams to deliver strategic outcomes. Embed and strengthen risk frameworks, policies, and governance practices through innovation, continuous improvement, and the adoption of AI-enabled solutions to reduce future risk. Manage multiple complex deliverables in a fast-paced environment, applying sound judgement to challenge stakeholders and foster a culture of accountability.
