Job Summary
Drafts, edits and coordinates Sewer District Board/Trustees resolutions; reviews transcripts and drafts meeting minutes from recordings; coordinates court reporter presence at public meetings; supports Legal Department with confidential administrative tasks; prepares background documents and memos, verifies and processes invoices including outside counsel; maintains legal records and appointment schedules; manages public meeting notices, document management, and travel/expense reimbursements; provides backup support to the legal team; proficient in MS Office; strong written/verbal communication and organizational skills; capable of handling large data sets and working in a fast-paced environment; eligible for hybrid work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Five (5) years of administrative experience; at least two (2) years in a legal environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Detail oriented with ability to manage large amounts of data and maintain detailed records
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Experience with document management systems and processing invoices
- Experience coordinating meetings, travel, and calendar management
- Experience with real estate transaction payments and outside counsel invoices
- Hybrid work eligibility
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Communications, Business Administration or closely related field
- Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted
- Five years of administrative experience; at least two years in a legal environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
