Job Summary
Oversee housekeeping and laundry operations for a hotel, directing staffing, scheduling, training, and inventory to ensure top-quality cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Collaborate with the General Manager to maintain service standards, control costs, and implement departmental programs. Key duties include recruiting and supervising staff, planning cleaning schedules for guest rooms and public areas, managing budgets and supplies, coordinating with maintenance and front desk, enforcing health and safety regulations, and implementing deep-cleaning and preventive maintenance initiatives. Requires 5+ years in a supervisory housekeeping role and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and housekeeping management software. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role within housekeeping
- Proven experience managing housekeeping operations, including staff supervision, budgeting, and inventory management
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and housekeeping management software
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Ability to develop and manage budgets and control costs effectively
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest complaints professionally
- Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities
