Job Summary
Lead the housekeeping department by implementing minimum standards, supervising staff hiring and training, and preparing works schedules based on labor standards. Plan, organize, and monitor daily activities to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards through continuous visual inspections of guestrooms and public areas. Complete required deep cleans, distribute workloads to guarantee productivity, and manage inventory for linen and supplies while ensuring proper chemical usage. Conduct staff meetings, counsel employees, and monitor security of keys to maintain team morale and operational efficiency. Schedule staff according to labor standards and forecasted occupancy while adhering to local, state, and federal regulations.

- Proven industry experience
- Previous experience managing a team of housekeeping employees through motivation, coaching and development
- The ability to anticipate customer needs, change goals and multitask
- Proven experience to interact effectively with all levels of management, guests, and associates
- Self-motivated to accomplish goals, with a strong sense of responsibility
- Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication and attention to detail
- Knowledge, understanding and adherence to Company Core Values and Mission Statement
- Must have the ability to lift heavy loads weighing up to 35 pounds
- Must have the ability to push and/or pull wheeled racks and carts weighing up to 100 pounds
