Job Summary
Executive Housekeeper responsible for daily shift operations of Housekeeping, Recreation/Health Club and Laundry as applicable; directs and coordinates with employees to maintain guest rooms, public spaces, and employee areas in a clean, well-maintained state. Ensures timely communication of guest room status to Front Desk, collaborates with Engineering on maintenance, supervises cleaning schedules, inventories supplies, and oversees cost management to meet budget goals. Develops and maintains inspection programs for guestrooms and public spaces; trains and supervises staff, conducts performance feedback, assists in interviewing and hiring, and supports departmental orientation. Focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, handling guest problems, improving service performance, and ensuring adherence to SOPs/LSOPs; participates in employee disciplinary procedures when necessary. Demonstrates leadership in staffing, budgeting, and ensuring fair and consistent policies in line with Marriott International’s equal opportunity practices.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in the housekeeping or related professional area.
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; no work experience required.
