Job Summary
Oversee daily housekeeping operations across the main residence, guest houses, and coach houses, ensuring exceptional cleanliness, organization, and presentation for the principals and guests. Supervise the housekeeping team, coordinate work schedules, and conduct regular inspections to verify property readiness. Develop and maintain comprehensive household inventories, manage seasonal deep-cleaning schedules, and coordinate preventative maintenance initiatives with external contractors. Create detailed operational procedures, checklists, and quality control processes to ensure consistent service standards. Liaise with the Estate Manager and other household professionals to support seamless daily operations, private entertaining, and seasonal transitions while maintaining absolute confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of executive housekeeping experience within a high-end private residence, estate, boutique hotel, luxury resort, private yacht, or comparable hospitality environment
- Demonstrated experience managing high-end household operations and supervising housekeeping staff
- Extensive knowledge of high-end home care, specialty cleaning techniques, garment care, fine linens, delicate textiles, and preventative maintenance
- Experience developing household procedures, operational manuals, inventories, and quality assurance systems
- Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and project management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach with the ability to anticipate household needs
- Professional, discreet, trustworthy, and committed to the highest standards of private service
- Valid driver's licence and ability to travel between properties as required
