Job Summary
Lead and manage a small housekeeping team by splitting time between hands-on work alongside staff and administrative duties like inspections, inventory management, scheduling, and timesheet accuracy. Build rapport with the team during the first six months to develop clear SOPs for current and new properties, while overseeing seasonal openings, linens, and deep cleaning preparations. Guide daily internal laundry operations and coordinate with outside contractors as needed. Use and maintain knowledge of natural, non-toxic products throughout the home. Travel domestically approximately six weeks per year to assist with property openings and manage housekeeping needs during family stays.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience managing a team of 4+ Housekeepers
- experience working in a family's primary residence (not exclusively vacation/seasonal homes)
- Strong administrative skills, including scheduling, inventory management, and timesheet oversight
- Deep knowledge of green and eco-conscious cleaning products and practices
- A warm, graceful leadership style; someone who treats team members with kindness and respect
- Comfortable working around children and pets
- Willingness to travel domestically approximately 6 weeks per year
- Willingness to relocate to the Aspen, CO area
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Able to undergo an in-depth background check and provide strong supervisory employment references
