Job Summary
Executive Housekeeper oversees all housekeeping activities to ensure highest levels of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include directing housekeeping and laundry staff, hiring/training and evaluating performance, planning and monitoring staff activities to meet quality standards, managing budgets and inventory, ensuring safe use of chemicals and proper labeling, coordinating rehab projects, and communicating effectively with guests and other departments to maintain superior service standards.
Required Qualifications
- Supervisory experience in housekeeping or hospitality
- Ability to interview, hire, train, and evaluate staff
- Strong communication skills in English
- Experience with budget and inventory management
- Knowledge of sanitation and chemical handling
- Ability to plan, organize, and supervise housekeeping and laundry operations
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports
- Team-building and staff coordination skills
- Ability to conduct staff meetings and coordinate with other departments
- Attention to safety, security, and hazard communication standards
