Job Summary
Lead, train, and develop the housekeeping team while overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with Shaner Hotels and brand standards. Create and adjust staff schedules based on occupancy, maintain high cleanliness and sanitation standards, and resolve guest concerns promptly. Monitor employee performance, manage departmental budgets and reports, and assist with housekeeping, laundry, and houseperson duties as needed. Requires 1–3 years of housekeeping management experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of housekeeping management experience in hospitality
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning chemicals, and equipment
- Some college
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
