Job Summary
Executive Housekeeper leads the housekeeping department to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, implementing cleaning standards, procuring supplies and managing budgets, ensuring chemical safety and OH&S compliance, tracking labor and productivity against occupancy, and conducting daily inspections. Requires leadership experience, exceptional attention to detail, strong communication and time-management skills, adaptability, and a flexible schedule (mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays) to support hotel operations.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership experience in housekeeping
- Ability to oversee daily operations of the housekeeping department
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills
- Ability to manage procurement of cleaning supplies, linens, and related inventory
- Budget management and cost-control abilities
- Knowledge of chemical safety and Occupational Health & Safety regulations
- Ability to conduct daily inspections and ensure room cleanliness standards
- Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
