Executive - Group Consolidation and Compliance

Job Summary
Support efforts to identify, cultivate, deploy, and enhance the consolidation process through cost-effective tools and automation while fostering initiatives to refine and optimize the process. Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including multi-currency intercompany reconciliations, and deliver precise financial information for routine reporting and ad hoc inquiries. Conduct specialized research on diverse accounting matters, identify evolving standards from regulatory bodies, and assess their implications for the Group. Enhance accounting procedures to integrate business environment shifts and compile governance inputs for organization-wide initiatives. Based in Battaramulla, this role requires an ACA or ACCA holder with Big Four and industry experience in IFRS consolidated reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, etc.)
- 1- 2 years of combined experience in a Big Four Accounting Firm as well as in industry working including experience in IFRS consolidated reporting and preparation of Group Financial Statements
- In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting

- Excellent command of ERP, BI, EPM tools, Microsoft Excel, strong analytical, report writing and communication skills
