Job Summary
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all machinery and utilities while leading troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues to minimize production downtime. Manage spare parts inventory, critical equipment lists, and maintenance budgets, proposing annual budgets for improvements and monitoring project costs. Plan and execute engineering projects including system upgrades, efficiency improvements, new equipment installation, and plant expansion. Conduct root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities, ensuring engineering operations comply with safety standards, environmental regulations, and palm oil industry requirements. Lead risk assessments, safety inspections, and corrective actions for engineering-related hazards. Supervise and develop engineering, maintenance, and utility teams through performance evaluations, training plans, and skill development programs. Collaborate with Production, Quality, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to support plant operations and report equipment performance and project status to senior management.
Required Qualifications

- Propose/support annual budgets for maintenance improvements
- Monitor project costs to ensure alignment with approved budgets
- Plan and execute engineering projects such as system upgrades, efficiency improvements, new equipment installation, and plant expansion
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA)
- Conduct continuous improvement activities (Kaizen, OEE improvement, reliability engineering)
- Ensure engineering operations comply with safety standards, environmental regulations, and palm oil industry requirements
- Lead risk assessments
- Lead safety inspections
- Lead corrective actions for engineering-related hazards
- Support waste minimization, energy conservation, and sustainability initiatives
- Supervise and develop the engineering, maintenance, and utility teams
- Conduct performance evaluations
- Conduct training plans
- Conduct skill development programs
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Procurement, and Warehouse teams
- Report equipment performance
- Report maintenance of KPIs
- Report breakdown analysis
- Report project status to senior management
