Job Summary
Executive Director to lead a new Westmont Living senior community in Santa Cruz (Soquel). Oversees full operations including culinary services, resident care, the Compass Rose memory care program, HR, marketing, regulatory compliance, and facility management. Requires RCFE license, at least three years in elderly care supervision/management, strong budgeting and regulatory know-how, leadership and coaching, and the ability to coordinate strategic planning and resource allocation to ensure quality care and operations aligned with licensing requirements.
Required Qualifications
- RCFE license
- three years of supervisory or management experience with the elderly
- minimum of 2 years of college (bachelor’s degree preferred)
- strong customer service skills
- budgets knowledge and compliance
- knowledge of state regulations, health laws and OSHA regulations
- strong management experience including hiring, training, coaching
- ability to organize and execute community operations including strategic planning and resource allocation
- criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
- health screens (Physical, TB, Drug test) and basic first aid within 30 days of hire
