Job Summary
Executive Director leads Habitat Health’s program operations, policy implementation, planning, development, administration, and monitoring of the Habitat Health program including PACE centers and home-based services. Responsible for overseeing budget, staffing, marketing/government/public relations, CMS readiness, payer contracting, risk management, privacy, and program development to ensure high-quality, coordinated clinical and social care for older adults and their caregivers.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Master’s Degree preferred in related field (business administration, health care administration, nursing or social service)
- Experience: minimum of 8 years in healthcare delivery/operations; minimum of 5 years in supervisory or administrative capacity; experience in complex brick-and-mortar healthcare delivery; multidisciplinary healthcare service operations
- Skills/Knowledge: thorough knowledge of home and community-based care for elders and disabled; working knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare/waiver programs; knowledge of community health care and aging networks; ability to supervise, communicate effectively, negotiate, plan, delegate; ability to work with diverse populations; self-direction and independence; ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage budgets; comfort with risk management and fiscal planning
