Executive Director: Vivo Foundation

Lead Vivo Foundation's strategy and grantmaking process in partnership with the Founders, translating vision into execution plans and measurable progress. Manage the Foundation's team, oversee operations and compliance, and cultivate relationships with nonprofit leaders, peer funders, and government stakeholders. Direct the launch and early operations of a new public art space in Chicago, including strategy, staffing, budgeting, and community engagement. Distill complex information into decision-ready materials and oversee internal and external communications while coordinating with the family office on financial and administrative matters. Engage the Advisory Board in meaningful learning and next-generation philanthropic engagement, and oversee discretionary grant allocations from Trustees, the Board, and staff. This role requires 10+ years of leadership experience in philanthropy or nonprofit management, with a preference for family foundation experience and knowledge of the Chicago and Lake County landscape.
