Job Summary
Executive Director leads Area General Managers, Development Managers, and salespeople to drive sales process and results across local government verticals in North America; develops go-to-market strategies focused on energy efficiency, renewable energy, water infrastructure, and bioenergy; consolidates quarterly sales forecasts and secured margin plans; recruits, trains, and develops development engineers and delivery teams; collaborates with operations and engineering during strategic planning to identify and pursue market opportunities; coaches and manages performance, sets staffing plans, and maintains key customer relationships to expand new and existing accounts; works with global teams to monitor market trends, competitive issues, and implement best practices within Sustainable Infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing or related field
- Master’s degree preferred
- Eight to ten years of progressive experience in sales of business and financial solutions
- Five years of experience in a management role with responsibility for productivity or development of others
- Subject matter expert on Local Government in US and Canada
