Job Summary
Executive Director for an assisted living community leads day-to-day operations, overseeing resident services, regulatory compliance, budgeting, sales/marketing, and team development. Responsibilities include setting strategic goals, financial planning, ensuring high resident satisfaction, compliance with HIPAA/OSHA/state regulations, supervising employee partners, managing occupancy targets, and representing the community with families and stakeholders. Requires a high school diploma (degree preferred), state certification for Assisted Living Administrators, 3+ years as an Executive Director/Administrator in senior living, strong leadership, budgeting, and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business administration, or a related field, or a combination of experience and education, will be considered.
- State regulations require state-specific Assisted Living Administrators certification.
- 3+ years of experience working as an Executive Director or Administrator in the senior living industry
- Strong understanding of state and federal regulations related to assisted living facilities.
- Proven financial management skills and experience managing budgets.
- Experience in sales and marketing, with a track record of achieving occupancy targets.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing quality care and improving the lives of seniors.
