Job Summary

Support the Therapeutic Area Lead and Business Development to create effective delivery strategies and solutions for clinical trials, ranging from small complex studies to large, multi-region programs. Partner with Sales, Medical, and Operations to evaluate new opportunities from receipt through award decisions, including standalone programs and early engagement discussions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to analyze data for efficient delivery solutions, contribute to project budgets aligned with contribution margins, and guide Project Leaders through comprehensive strategy handovers. Actively support sales efforts by preparing customer and bid defense meetings, providing specific content, and presenting at required customer meetings. Work with Marketing to develop commercial strategies and campaigns to drive gross business targets while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of therapeutic trends and clinical trial methodologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field
  • 10+ years of global clinical research experience
  • hands-on operational delivery and/or drug development experience
  • Proven track record in operational delivery and/or drug development
  • Broad protocol knowledge
  • Comprehensive global knowledge, awareness, and practical understanding of the biopharma industry
  • drug development lifecycle

  • Robust and current knowledge of the scientific, clinical, regulatory, commercial, and competitive landscape in the applicable therapeutic area
  • In-depth knowledge of, and skill in applying, applicable clinical research regulatory requirements

  • International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines
  • Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs
