Job Summary
Oversee all community operations by developing and supervising a management team, including hiring, evaluation, training, and scheduling. Direct overall departmental activities, interpret monthly financial statements for budgeting, and manage accident prevention programs. Lead emergency responses, develop correction plans for inspection deficiencies, and ensure marketing and admissions plans drive effective sales participation. Represent the residence with residents, families, and partners while maintaining positive community relationships. Requires a Bachelor's degree in business or health, 4+ years of leadership experience, and relevant administrator licenses. Full-time role with flexibility for weekends and holidays; active driver's license required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or a health-related field from an accredited university
- Minimum 4 years of proven leadership experience in healthcare, human services, or social services, with at least 2 years in an Administrator/Executive Director capacity
- Personal Care Home Administrator License, Nursing Home Administrator License, RN, or LPN
- Active Driver's License in good standing
- Expert knowledge of the business of providing long-term personal care and legal requirements
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal skills, and team development abilities
- Exceptional proactive time management and organizational skills
- Able to manage emergency situations calmly and competently
- Technologically proficient, especially in Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Sound judgement and a strong ethical foundation in decision-making
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods
- Ability to move comfortably and safely, which can include lifting, bending, stretching, squatting, etc.
