Job Summary
Lead the day-to-day operating model for the System Finance function by establishing governance, leadership routines, and performance management processes. Coordinate priorities across Financial Planning & Analysis, Treasury, Accounting, Revenue Cycle, and other Finance functions to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Serve as the primary strategic advisor to the System Chief Financial Officer by facilitating leadership meetings, preparing Board and Executive Leadership Team materials, and tracking strategic initiatives. Translate the CFO's vision into executable plans by removing organizational barriers and ensuring disciplined execution of Finance Division objectives. Lead special projects, coach Finance leaders, and develop succession planning to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- 10–12 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in finance, healthcare administration, consulting, strategy, or organizational leadership supporting executive decision-making and enterprise-wide initiatives within a complex, matrixed organization
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives, executive governance, organizational effectiveness, and strategic planning in a large healthcare system or similarly complex organization
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
Desired Qualifications
- Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Health Administration (MHA), Master of Public Health (MPH), or other relevant advanced degree
- Experience supporting executive leadership teams, Boards, or Board Committees within an integrated health system, academic medical center, or similarly complex organization
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma, or other relevant leadership or finance certification
