Job Summary
Lead cross-portfolio spend, lending, and rewards strategy for the SMB card portfolio; translate insights into a clear roadmap with measurable outcomes. You will partner with product, analytics, risk, finance, and delivery to align priorities, drive tradeoffs, and improve portfolio economics, communicating with senior stakeholders and leading through influence in a highly matrixed organization. Responsibilities include setting spend and lending strategy, owning the cross-portfolio capabilities roadmap, applying P&L and unit economics to strategy, developing customer and segment insights, coordinating with risk on spend capacity, building a test-and-learn agenda, and delivering executive materials with progress, risks, and investment recommendations. Required qualifications include ten+ years in relevant fields and a Bachelor’s degree; preferred qualifications include experience in credit card portfolio management, marketing, or lending; applicants must be authorized to work in the US; location is New York, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ten or more years of experience in analytics, finance, strategy, product, or portfolio management
- Strong understanding of customer insights, profit and loss dynamics, and credit card risk metrics
- Demonstrated ability to take a strategic idea from business case to roadmap to delivery to measurement
- Exceptional stakeholder management with success influencing outcomes in a matrixed environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including executive-level storytelling
- Highly proactive and results-driven with strong prioritization across multiple initiatives
