Job Summary
Executive Director, School of Nursing responsible for providing academic leadership, strategic planning, and program development across undergraduate and graduate nursing education, including CCNE accreditation activities, faculty hiring and development, and collaboration with community healthcare agencies; leads curriculum planning, assessment, and learning-outcomes coordination, with emphasis on enhancing scholarly environment and program expansion.
Required Qualifications
- Must have licensure or be eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Illinois
- Doctorate in nursing or a closely related field
- Strategic vision for a nursing program
- Record of collaborative leadership
- Excellent administrative and interpersonal skills
- Significant experience in undergraduate and graduate nursing education and practice
- Familiarity with CCNE accreditation standards and processes
- High level of proficiency with data analysis, presentation, and communication
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a complex organizational environment
- Background screening is required.
