Job Summary
Executive Director of Safety & Compliance responsible for establishing, enforcing, and continuously improving the organization’s safety, regulatory compliance, and risk management systems. Provides enterprise-level oversight of all safety initiatives and ensures operations comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and internal standards. Serves as the central authority for safety performance, compliance assurance, and incident prevention, with influence over operational decision-making, field execution standards, and leadership accountability. Location: Hybrid in New Braunfels, TX with up to 50% travel. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing enterprise-wide safety strategy, establishing standardized safety policies and controls, defining safety performance metrics (e.g., TRIR, LTIR, near-miss reporting), serving as liaison with regulatory agencies, overseeing licensing and reporting, risk management, incident investigations, CAPA, training and competency development, audits and continuous improvement, and cross-functional integration to embed safety in all workflows. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Safety/Environmental Health or related field, 10-15+ years of leadership in safety and compliance, experience with OSHA/DOT/environmental regulatory frameworks, ability to manage large distributed teams, demonstrated incident investigation experience, and professional certifications (CSP, CIH, CHST). Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
Required Qualifications

- Experience leading large, distributed teams and multi-site operations
- Professional certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHST)
