Job Summary

Executive Director leads the Engagement & Retention product team within Chase’s CoBrand & Partner Product to own the post-acquisition cardholder lifecycle from onboarding to long-term loyalty. You will manage a high-performing team of Product Managers, set priorities, and deliver capabilities with speed and quality. You’ll partner with cobrand teams and internal groups to co-develop engagement strategies across brands, drive gamification and personalization to motivate spending and retention, define north star metrics and data frameworks, build a Cardholder Lifecycle Model (CLM), and oversee cross-functional delivery across Engineering, Design, Data Science, Analytics, Marketing, and Compliance. You will translate business objectives into buildable capabilities, support partner negotiations and deal renewals, and communicate portfolio performance to executives and partners. The role requires deep product and data strategy expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to operate within a large, matrixed organization, with a focus on activation, spend behavior, digital engagement, and retention across cobranded partnerships.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years leading and developing a team of PMs
  • Demonstrated success owning engagement, retention, or lifecycle product domains in consumer financial services, fintech, or platform businesses with multi-sided customer relationships
  • Strong understanding of API design, integration patterns, and digital platform architecture
  • Experience building products at the intersection of data platforms, behavioral incentives, and consumer-facing experiences
  • Ability to develop and communicate a compelling product strategy balancing short-term wins with long-term growth
  • Experience championing generative AI tools and solutions to modernize the product lifecycle
  • Proven ability to deliver complex products or platforms on time and within scope in large, matrixed organizations
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with internal teams and external partners
  • Data-driven decision making with experience in prioritizing features for maximum impact, including funnel analysis, cohort modeling, and experimentation design
  • Ability to translate complex product and data strategies into clear narratives for leadership audiences
  • Inspirational leadership capable of motivating teams and driving alignment across the organization
