Job Summary
Oversee all community operations including resident care, financial management, team development, sales, and regulatory compliance with full operational authority. Lead resident services, admission, care planning, and healthcare coordination while maintaining active relationships with families and external partners. Drive occupancy targets, manage budgets and staffing costs, and ensure strict adherence to state and federal regulations. Recruit, coach, and retain a high-performing team across departments while championing BLOOM values and person-centered memory care. Represent Morningside publicly as an ambassador of quality care in healthcare networks and civic organizations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Gerontology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of executive-level leadership experience in assisted living, memory care, or a comparable senior living environment
- Demonstrated track record of financial performance, team development, and operational excellence in a residential care setting
- Assisted Living Manager (ALM) license
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing operating budgets, forecasting, and analyzing performance metrics
- Proven ability to build trust-based relationships with residents, families, team members, and community partners, especially in emotionally complex caregiving environments
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a diverse team
- Ability to operate independently while maintaining transparency and alignment with regional and corporate leadership
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with HRIS, scheduling, and community management software
