Job Summary
Executive Director of Product Strategy sought to lead strategic development of digital payment products within the Payments & Lending Innovation team. Responsible for defining long-term product strategy, leading zero-to-one launches and product refreshes, shaping go-to-market plans, and aligning with cross-functional partners (Product, Design, Engineering, Data & Analytics, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Risk). Drive market assessments, business cases, budgeting and forecasting, manage executive stakeholder relationships, and develop a team of general managers. Requires a customer-obsessed mindset, strong analytical and communication skills, risk and controls discipline, and a proven track record of leading in financial services and fintech product strategy.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in financial services and product strategy and general management with demonstrated ability to launch and scale new products
- Experience driving change within large, highly matrixed organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
- Passion for understanding customer needs and translating them to actionable insights and strategies
- Strong analytical skills
- Able to analyze opportunities, recommend solutions, and communicate effectively (both verbal and written) to all levels of management
- Track record of strong people leadership and engagement across diverse teams
- Strong track record of managing risk and controls
- Bachelor’s degree
- Master’s degree preferred
- Fintech background, digital wallets or payments experience preferred
- Experience in financial modeling preferred
