Job Summary

Lead the Planned Giving team at Santa Clara University, directing Gift Planning Officers and coordinating with university leadership to secure gifts ranging from six figures to seven figures and to achieve an annual fundraising goal typically between $2M and $5M. Manage a portfolio of up to 125 major gift prospects and collaborate with schools, centers, and university leadership to identify funding priorities and engage donors through outright gifts, life income gifts, bequests, and other estate-planning gifts, contributing to the university’s $15M+ annual fundraising objective. This role supports a flexible 3:2 hybrid work schedule, balancing on-site and remote work between the office in Santa Clara, CA and home. Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree; a strong track record of securing six-figure and above gifts and experience in higher education fundraising; and proficiency with fundraising databases and donor management practices.
